Lachlan Skinner

Lachlan Skinner is a proud Gumbaynggirr man from Coffs Harbour, NSW, with a strong background in community engagement and First Nations service development. Since the age of 16, he has been actively involved in organising community events such as NAIDOC Week, building strong connections with community and culture. Lachlan currently works across Interrelate supporting the development of culturally safe practice, strengthening partnerships with Aboriginal communities, and guiding staff capability through training, program design, and cultural frameworks. He has led initiatives including the Aboriginal Building Connections program, Message Stick Program, and the development of organisational approaches to Acknowledgement of Country and cultural learning. Lachlan is also the creator of an online radio platform used to share information, promote culture, and keep community connected.
