We hear you’re going to visit our Children's Contact Service and are so looking forward to meeting you. We wanted to tell you a little more about us so that you know what to expect when you come to visit.
Sometimes it can be tricky for everyone to be together so we are here to help families spend time with each other when it's not easy to do at home.
Our Children’s Contact Service is a space where you can play and spend time with people who love and care for you especially those who you don’t get to see all the time. You might see your mum, dad, grandparents or other people who are special to you.
When you visit you will be able to play and spend time with your family. There are plenty of things to do when you’re visiting such as:
It’s important that you have a good time when you’re visiting so if there is something you’d like to do we'd love to hear about it.
It’s ok to feel scared. We know starting something new can be hard which is why we will be with you the whole time. If you have a toy or teddy that makes you feel safe please bring it with you. If there is anything else we can do please make sure you tell us. We're here to help you.
Before your visit with your loved ones ask your mum or dad if you can come and say hi to see where the visits will be. You will get to meet us and have a chance to play and explore. If your visits will be online we can meet you there too - we will just need your parents help.
We hope this has given you a good idea about what it will be like when you come but we also love questions so if you have any please don't be shy - ask away!
We can't wait to meet you.
