*Psychological support must have mental health treatment plan and valid referral.

To access Medicare rebates, you need a current Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP. This will allow you to claim up to 10 individual psychological counselling sessions each calendar year.

All plans must be dated on or before the date of your session (and must be accompanied by a valid referral). Mental Health Treatment Plans and GP referrals cannot be backdated.

After each session I relate. Health process eligible Medicare rebates via an electronic claim system. Medicare will then pay your rebate into either (a) the account of the card you used to pay, or (b) the bank account you have pre-registered with Medicare.

We can deliver psychological support to people who either self-manage or plan manage their NDIS funding. Unfortunately, we do not accept referrals for agency managed clients.

If you would like to discuss a potential NDIS funded referral, please get in touch (call us on 1300 473 528 or email: referral@interrelate.org.au).

To process NDIS services, we require your NDIS number, a copy of your plan (so we can service against the appropriate line item) and invoicing details. The fee for NDIS funded clients is aligned to the NDIS schedule of fees so there are no out-of-pocket costs for NDIS funded clients.

Please contact your Local Area Coordinator to learn more about accessing the NDIS or accessing psychological support in your NDIS Plan.
