Our Commitment to CALD Communities

We embrace Australia's cultural diversity and are committed to inclusive services for all families and individuals. We use the term "culturally and linguistically diverse" (CALD) to recognise people of multicultural and multi-lingual backgrounds. Our goal is to provide responsive and culturally appropriate services respecting the rights of individuals to practice their faith cultural customs and traditions. We acknowledge the challenges faced by people of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and the additional barriers that are present when you are living in a society where services are often designed for people from the dominant culture.

We recognise and support the strengths within multicultural communities acknowledging the diversity within each cultural group, family and individual. We aim to continue fostering an environment that embraces and celebrates what makes each of us unique.
